Thirty eight years ago Fred and Su Webber decided they needed a change. They sold everything they had and shut down their used appliance business. They packed up and started driving from Galion, Ohio not sure where they would end up. Fred was an avid hunter and Su an avid fisherwoman so they decided to head to Texas. Still not knowing what city they would reside in. They stopped in Brownwood, TX and Fred opened up the map and saw the river and three lakes around San Angelo and that's all she wrote. They started Ace Appliances in 1979. In 1986 they bought out Henry's Appliances which was a business that had been operating in San Angelo since 1966. Today we have Ace and Henry's Appliances that individuals, business owners, and landlords have known to love and trust.
